Kluane Banff National Park Quiz

Located in the northwestern corner of the Yukon Territory, just south of Ivvavik National Park, its 4345 square kilometres lies in the northern portion of the vast interior wetland plain of Old Crow Flats, recently recognized by the Ramsar Convention as internationally important as a critical waterfowl habitat. Mammals found here include grizzly, moose, muskrat, and the Porcupine caribou, which migrate seasonally between Alaska, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. Vuntut National Park was established through settlement of the Vuntut Gwitchen First Nation Final Agreement in 1995, and is presently co-managed by the native inhabitants whose nomadic ancestors made their home here during the last ice age. The themes of the park emphasize the aboriginal history, culture, and use of the land.
